Haunted grilled cheese sandwiches!
These peculiar grilled cheese sandwiches are the perfect comfort food. With just few ingredients they are quick and easy to make. You can also make multiple at once if you plan on making them for guests. Everybody can have a hot ghosty toasty at the same time.
GHOSTY TOASTIES
-Melted Butter
-Sliced bread (white or wheat)
-Munster cheese slices
-Monterey jack shredded cheese
-Ghost cookie cutter or paper template
-Black food dye
-Sriracha Sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
-Preheat oven 450°f
-Generously brush one side of both slices of bread with melted butter.
-Place the first slide of bread "butter side down" on a cookie
sheet.
-Divide shredded white cheese between two bowls
-Add black food dye to one bowl and mix until combined.
-Let sit for 5 minutes.
-Place cheese in stripes on the bread. 3 black stripes 2
white stripes.
-Add the second bread on top butter side up.
-Cut out your ghost shape from the munster cheese slices
and set aside. (don't add them yet!)
-Place sandwiches in the oven for 4 minutes.
-After 4 minutes carefully flip the sandwich over.
-Add the cheese ghosts on top of the toasted side and
bake for 4 more minutes.
-Once cooked, Add sriracha sauce to make the ghost eyes and mouth.
-Let cool for 2 minutes.

NOTES
*The food dye is 100% optional. This makes a great normal grilled cheese sandwich as well.
*Baking them in the oven is great because you can make a whole pan of these in one go.
*If you don't have a cookie cutter, you can free hand the ghost with a small knife. It will all taste good in the end.
